I am a long way off being able to do it but also I can imagine being able to do it and think I know how to get there. I wanted to tell you that I have found it really encouraging to read how far you feel from doing your projects at the start. It's not all 'good climber does hard route' - there is a big lead-up. It is such a different approach from thinking 'That is way too hard for me just now -no point in trying'.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29070294.post-86330850652516220552011-02-21T22:50:07.617+00:002011-02-21T22:50:07.617+00:00Are those the kinds of stretches in Performance Ro...Are those the kinds of stretches in Performance Rock Climbing? Looking forward to your book. Once I'm bouldering and doing circuits it's go go go and I don't want to think about stretches. And after the circuits I generally just want to go and sleep! Not that there's much of that going on at the moment ; )Dave MacLeodhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02442169589581067050noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-29070294.post-47097066077536067452011-02-14T12:41:39.163+00:002011-02-14T12:41:39.163+00:00Are you doing the stretching after as well as befo...Are you doing the stretching after as well as before the strength work? I've read that static stretching is more effective after strength training rather than before as there is a reduction in strength for a while after stretching. What's your logic for your flexibility training?Alan Russellnoreply@blogger.com
